Little April

I dreamed the idea for Little April on Christmas morning. I recorded it quickly a few days later, feeling like I was racing a clock or calendar to capture the moment. I then hiked up to the snow that had fallen in the mountains overnight, with the idea of making this video.

Every year come April, I think, ‘I made it. I survived winter.’ This year the season takes on added responsibility, with the anticipation of our collective situation improving (even somewhat).

Whatever your idea of hope looks like, whatever is your metaphorical spring, I hope this song captures a bit of it for you.

Thanks to Ken Klaus for filming much of this, and to Jeff Gross for help with the audio.
